Product Features

Complete Accessory Kit for K-Type Joint Assembly
You have the pipes and fittings. You need the accessories to join them. We supply everything: rubber gaskets, joint lubricant, insertion tools, test caps, and line stoppers. One order. One shipment. No missing pieces.

Gaskets That Meet ISO 4633 and EN 681-1
Not all gaskets are the same. Cheap gaskets fail in service. Our gaskets meet international rubber standards. Tensile strength, elongation, compression set, and aging resistance all tested. You get a leak-free joint.

Water-Based Lubricant Safe for Drinking Water
The lubricant helps the pipe slide into the socket. It does not damage the rubber. It does not contaminate drinking water. It washes away after assembly. One tub lubricates 50-100 joints depending on pipe size.

Test Caps for Quick Pressure Testing
After installing a pipeline section, you must pressure test it. Our test caps seal the pipe ends temporarily. Attach a pump. Pressurize the line. Find leaks before backfilling. Test caps available for all DN sizes.

Line Stoppers for Maintenance Without Draining
Need to repair a valve or fitting? Use a line stopper. It seals the pipe downstream. You drain only a small section. The rest of the pipeline stays in service. Your customers do not lose water.

Application

New Pipeline Construction – Every joint needs a gasket and lubricant. Every test section needs test caps. Keep your crew supplied.

Pipeline Pressure Testing – Before backfilling, test each section. Use test caps at both ends. Pressurize with water. Verify no leakage.

Emergency Pipe Repair – A pipe breaks. You need to stop flow. Use a line stopper upstream. Replace the broken section. Remove the stopper. Back in service.

Valve or Fitting Replacement – Isolate a section using line stoppers. Drain only the work area. Replace the faulty component. Restore service quickly.

Joint Disassembly for Pipeline Modification – Need to add a branch or change direction? Use extractor tools to remove pipes. Reconfigure the line. Reassemble with new gaskets.

Large Diameter Installations (DN800+) – Heavy pipes need alignment guides and heavy-duty insertion tools. We supply accessories for large diameters.

Underwater Pipe Joining – Special lubricants and gaskets for submerged installation. Ask about our underwater joint accessory kit.

Temporary Pipeline Bypass – Test caps seal temporary pipe ends. Stoppers isolate sections. Gaskets assemble bypass lines quickly.

Usage Instructions of K-Type Joint Parts

Step 1: Prepare the Socket
Clean the socket interior. Remove dirt, sand, and debris. Check for damage to the gasket groove.

Step 2: Install the Gasket
Place the K-type gasket into the socket groove. Ensure it sits evenly all around. No twisting. No gaps.

Step 3: Lubricate the Gasket and Pipe End
Apply lubricant to the inside of the gasket. Apply lubricant to the pipe spigot end (first 50-100mm). Use the wiper tool for even coating.

Step 4: Mark Insertion Depth
Use the depth marking gauge. Mark a line around the pipe at the correct distance from the end. This is your insertion target.

Step 5: Align the Pipe
For large pipes, use the alignment guide. Center the pipe with the socket. For small pipes, manual alignment works.

Step 6: Insert the Pipe
Push the pipe into the socket. For small pipes (DN80-200), manual pushing works. For larger pipes, use the insertion tool. Strike the tool with a sledgehammer. Push until the depth mark aligns with the socket face.

Step 7: Verify Proper Assembly
Check that the depth mark is visible at the socket face. The pipe should not bottom out. The gasket should not be visible.

Step 8: Test the Joint
Pressure test the pipeline section. No leakage means correct assembly.

For Disassembly (Extractor Tool):

Insert extractor tool hooks behind the pipe shoulder.

Attach a jack or puller.

Apply force gradually.

The pipe slides out of the socket.

Inspect gasket. Replace if damaged.

Accessories

Gasket Lubricant in Bulk (25kg drum) – For large pipeline projects. Enough for 1,000+ joints (DN100). Cost effective.

Gasket Installation Cone – Tool that stretches the gasket evenly into the socket groove. Prevents twisting. Reduces installation time.

Spare Gaskets Kit (10% of joint count) – Keep spares on site. Damaged gaskets happen. Do not stop work waiting for replacements.

Test Cap Pressure Gauge Kit – Includes gauge, hose, and fitting for test cap. Pressurize and monitor test section.

Line Stopper Air Pump – Manual or electric pump for inflatable stoppers. Pressure gauge included.

Joint Inspection Mirror – Angled mirror on telescoping handle. Inspect gasket position inside the socket before inserting pipe.

Pipe End Chamfer Tool – Bevels the pipe end to prevent gasket damage during insertion. Essential for large diameters.

Extractor Tool Jack Set – Hydraulic jack matched to extractor tool. Pulls stuck pipes from sockets.

Company Advantages

One-Stop Shop for Pipeline Joint Supplies
You need gaskets. You need lubricant. You need test caps. You need tools. We supply everything. No separate orders. No waiting for multiple suppliers. One invoice. One delivery.

Gaskets That Fit Any K-Type Socket
Our gaskets follow ISO 2531 and EN 545 profiles. They fit sockets from any ductile iron pipe manufacturer. You do not need to buy gaskets from the pipe supplier.

Lubricant That Works in All Weather
Our water-based lubricant remains effective from -10°C to 80°C. It does not freeze solid. It does not become runny in heat. Your crew works year-round.

Test Caps Reusable for Hundreds of Tests
Cheap test caps use thin rubber that tears. Our test caps use thick EPDM seals. The steel body is welded, not cast. Use them 100+ times.

Line Stoppers for Emergency and Planned Work
Keep line stoppers on your service truck. When a pipe breaks, you stop flow immediately. No waiting for a contractor. No draining the entire main.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is a K-type joint?
A: K-type is the standard push-on rubber seal joint for ductile iron pipes. The socket has a shaped groove that holds a wedge-profile gasket. The pipe pushes in. The gasket compresses and seals.

Q: Do your gaskets fit pipes from other manufacturers?
A: Yes. Our gaskets follow ISO 2531 and EN 545 profiles. They fit sockets from any manufacturer that follows these standards.

Q: How many joints can one tub of lubricant do?
A: One 1 kg tub does 50-100 joints depending on pipe size. DN100: about 100 joints. DN300: about 50 joints. DN600: about 25 joints.

Q: Is the lubricant safe for drinking water?
A: Yes. The lubricant is water-based and non-toxic. It is approved for use with drinking water pipes. It washes away after assembly.

Q: Can I reuse a gasket after disassembly?
A: No. Always use a new gasket after disassembly. The old gasket has compressed and may not seal again. Gaskets are low cost compared to a leaking joint.
