Important Notes on Dimensions

 

Face-to-face dimensions for bends and reducers follow ISO 5752 / EN 558 (Series 1 for PN16).

Tee lengths follow EN 545 / EN 598 standards.

Flange dimensions shown are for EN 1092-2 PN16. For ANSI / BS / JIS flanges, dimensions differ. Contact us for your standard.

Weights are approximate for ductile iron with cement mortar lining. Add 5-10% for epoxy or PU lining.

For ANSI Class 150 flanges (DN50-DN600), provide your flange standard and we supply matching dimensions.

 

Accessories

 

Full-Face EPDM Gaskets (3mm) – Matches the entire flange face. Perfect for flat face flanges (BS 10, AS 4087). One gasket per flange connection.

Flat Ring Gaskets (3mm) – For raised face flanges (EN 1092-2, ANSI B16.1). Seals on the raised face only. Standard for European and US flanges.

Flange Bolt Sets (Grade 8.8) – Carbon steel with zinc plating. Includes bolts, nuts, and flat washers. Correct length for your fitting thickness. Thread size matches flange bolt holes.

Stainless Steel Bolt Sets (A2 or A4) – A2 (304) for fresh water. A4 (316) for salt water or chemicals. No rust. No staining on visible installations.

 

Performance Testing

 

Fill fitting with clean water. Vent all air.

Pressurize to 1.5 times rated pressure (PN16 → 24 bar).

Hold pressure for minimum 60 seconds.

Inspect entire casting surface for leaks, sweating, or porosity.

Result: No visible water passage through the wall. No weeping at porosity.

 

Material Tensile Test

 

Sample taken from each melt (heat) of ductile iron.

Cast into a test bar. Machined to standard shape.

Pull to failure in tensile test machine.

Requirement: 400 MPa minimum tensile strength, 15% minimum elongation.

Our results typically: 430-470 MPa, 16-18% elongation.

 

Marking Verification

 

Each fitting permanently marked with: DN, PN, heat number, standard (EN 545 or EN 598), and manufacturer logo.

Marking must be legible and durable (not painted over).
