Advanced Connection System
Our DI socket fittings feature EX joints. This system provides superior performance. These fittings ensure perfect connections. They work with all ductile iron pipes. Choose our advanced joint solutions.

Product Features
EX expansion joint geometry: Socket cavity is engineered with controlled clearance that houses a double-lipped gasket, enabling simultaneous angular rotation and longitudinal movement.
Stress relief for buried pipelines: Dissipates forces from soil settlement, thermal expansion, and seismic activity, eliminating the need for separate expansion devices.

Key Applications
Water Supply Networks
Main distribution lines
Branch connections
Sewage Systems
Wastewater transport

Scope
Compatible with potable water, raw water, treated effluent, and industrial water applications. Operating temperature range -10°C to 80°C based on elastomer selection.
Materials
Fitting body: Ductile iron grade EN-GJS-400-15 or EN-GJS-450-10 conforming to ISO 1083
Gasket: EPDM compound formulated for EX joint applications, meeting EN 681-1 requirements
Assembly lubricant: Water-based, non-toxic lubricant compatible with EPDM
Back-up rings (if applicable): Acetal or stainless steel for enhanced extrusion resistance
Installation Steps
Prepare trench properly. Check fitting condition. Clean socket and spigot. Apply lubricant evenly. Push components together. Check joint alignment. Test connection security.
Standards
Design and manufacturing: EN 545 (potable water) / EN 598 (sewage) / ISO 2531
